Finished Wood Surface is Rough
Acceptable Performance/Condition Surfaces that are touched during normal use shall be uniformly smooth. Surfaces not touched during normal use shall appear smooth when viewed without magnification, from a minimum distance of 60 Inches under normal lighting conditions and from a normal viewing position. Warranty One-Year Work and Materials Action Surfaces not meeting the Acceptable condition shall be made smooth and refinished. Remarks The open grain in some wood surfaces tends to show a rough appearance yet feel smooth; this is a natural property of wood and is Acceptable. |
