Exterior Paint or Stain has Faded
Acceptable Performance/Condition Exterior paints and stains shall not fade or discolour in an uneven or random manner. Warranty One-Year Work and Materials Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or alterations, deletions or additions by the homeowner is not covered by the warranty. Action Exterior paints and stains not meeting the acceptable condition shall be repaired. Remarks Fading of exterior paints and stains is normal and the degree of fading depends on environmental conditions, e.g. southern exposures. Exact matches of repainted areas cannot be expected due to aging and environmental soiling of the original finish. |
